Omar MAIGA is a geoscientist with a master’s degree in earth sciences, planets, and environments from Paul Sabatier University, as well as a second master’s degree in business administration and entrepreneurship from the International Management and Commercial School during which he oriented his projects on natural hydrogen market and technologies. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis, conducted at IFPEN – IFPschool and Sorbonne University. His Ph.D. was funded by the HYDROMA and he is the author of two significant discoveries, notably in the dynamics of natural hydrogen reservoirs (specifically, the spontaneous recharging dynamics) and the various processes involved in accumulating and trapping large volume of natural Hydrogen. His research was primarily based on data from the Bourakebougou field.
