- Sebastien Lacaze has been the working in the Energy industry for over 25 years, developing geoscience software applications for major international operators in various locations around the world. He graduated from University of Brittany (1996) and Paris Sorbonne University (1997) where he holds Masters in Science degrees in Fundamental and Applied Geophysics. He has started his career as research engineer in seismology at the French Atomic Commission and worked in Nepal with the Department of Mines and Geology. In 2003, he joined Techsia® (acquired by SLB® in 2009), to work on the Techlog® software in the quantitative interpretation of well log data. In 2007, he has co-founded Eliis, specialized in seismic interpretation for the E&P exploration and has run the company as CEO until 2023. Then Sebastien took a deep interest in new energies exploration and more specifically on the natural hydrogen. In 2024 Sebastian has co-founded Look Up Geoscience, a company providing software solutions and services for the geologic hydrogen and low carbon energies exploration.
