Bio
I am a geologist with a degree from the Universidad de la República (UDELAR, Uruguay) and a Master's in Energy Resources from the University of Granada (UGR, Spain). My experience includes seismic stratigraphy applied to offshore exploration and the recovery of critical raw materials from brines, notably through my work on the BrineRIS project in Spain (EIT RawMaterials – EU). Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the PEDECIBA program and a faculty member at UDELAR. My research focuses on the potential of natural hydrogen in Uruguay. I have published a national-scale assessment and am currently working on soil gas hydrogen measurements to evaluate its occurrence in the most promising geological settings, and hydrogen plays evaluation.
