- Geologist with a master’s degree in science - Geology from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with more than 4 years of professional experience in the area of applied research in energy and mineral resources. He has participated in the formulation and development of projects financed by Colombian entities and agencies such as the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as advising public entities such as the Universidad Industrial de Santander. This research has focused on the comprehensive characterization and understanding of complex geological systems, with emphasis on petroleum systems, mineral deposits, geological storage of CO2 and geological hydrogen exploration (white hydrogen). As an active member of the research group "Technological Characterization of Minerals", he currently works as a researcher in cutting-edge projects funded by national entities, leading critical phases in the evaluation of white hydrogen potential on Colombian territory. With expertise in advanced analytical methodologies (Micro-Raman, petrography, geochemistry, fluid inclusions in opaque minerals and geological modelling) for the generation of knowledge with direct applicability.
