Bio

Marcin Łojek is a Chief Specialist at the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute with 15 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in international hydrocarbon exploration. At the Institute, he has led pioneering research project, including the application of neural networks for lithostratigraphic identification based on geophysical well logs and the development of a 3D petrophysical model of the Mogilno–Łódź Trough (Central Poland) for geothermal potential assessment. His current research focuses on evaluating the maturity of organic matter in the Paleozoic complexes of Pomerania using UV light and geophysical well logs, as well as assessing the natural hydrogen potential and developing 3D petrophysical models of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline (SW Poland).
