- Indra Sanjaya is a PhD student at The University of Western Australia and a geoscientist at the Geological Agency, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Indonesia. His current research focuses on the occurrence of natural hydrogen within the East Sulawesi Ophiolite, Indonesia, with the aim of improving the understanding of hydrogen generation through serpentinization reactions. His work integrates multiple approaches, including field-based geological investigations, petrology, and geochemistry, to better understand the mechanisms controlling natural hydrogen generation. Alongside his academic research, he has more than a decade of professional experience in geological mapping, mineral exploration, and geological research projects across Indonesia.
