Bio

Jeniffer Pardo Quiroga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. She is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Geology at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she is a researcher for the H2Mag project. Her research focuses on the mechanisms of natural hydrogen generation in sedimentary systems, with her specific role dedicated to characterizing microorganisms that consume or produce hydrogen. Her methodology combines a variety of laboratory techniques, such as chromatography and DNA extraction, with advanced bioinformatics tools. Ultimately, this research aims to determine the generation of white hydrogen in sedimentary basins from a comprehensive interdisciplinary perspective.
