Mark Hansford
Eden GeoPower
Informations
- Bio
- Mark previously worked for Shell where he developed extensive subsurface experience working in deepwater, international, and unconventional plays. His expertise spans resource exploration, subsurface characterization, and field development strategy. At Eden GeoPower, Mark combines his skillset developed in the hydrocarbon industry with practical research and development to accelerate the commercialization and de-risking Eden’s technology. He drives pilot programs from concept through field execution, working at the intersection of geology, engineering, and operations to advance first-of-a-kind subsurface technologies. Mark earned his Ph.D. in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines, where his research focused on quantifying the effects of climate on natural systems. Today, he applies his expertise to bridge scientific research, field operations, and commercial deployment, helping develop technologies that enable more sustainable energy production.
